About your Mentor

Tonnit Thomas is the Founder and Chief Creative Mentor of Tonnit Design and has won the Dubai TOP 100 SME award three times. With a Fine Arts degree and 26 years of experience in the creative industry in the UAE and India, Tonnit is a highly regarded creative professional and renowned for his expertise in Creative and Visual Design thinking.

Tonnit has contributed to the conceptualization and creation of esteemed brands in both the government and retail sectors across the GCC, Africa and India.

He is also a founding member of Artry, a Dubai-based Art Community.

Who is this course for?

The course is aimed at anyone interested in becoming a Creative Art / Design professional in Advertising Agencies, Corporate Communication, Inhouse Agencies also as well as Freelance Creative professionals.

 

Here are the eligibility requirements for this course: 

Completed grade 12 or any higher level.

Essential Tools and Materials

Technical Requirements:

  • Laptop with Windows 10 or macOS 10.15 Catalina (or later).
  • Adobe Photoshop CC and Adobe Illustrator (available for purchase or as a seven-day trial on the Adobe website).
  • Wacom tablet

 

To fully immerse yourself in this course, you'll require:

  • A sketchbook
  • Pencils & Pens, Eraser

Course Outcome

  • Will have a clear understanding of your individual progression as a seasoned art director.
  • Confidence in presenting your creative thinking in a visual format.
  • Create an industry standard portfolio, for presenting in a professional context.
