DIRECTOR'S NOTE
Sir Isaac Newton
If deserving talent does not find the right mentorship, whose loss is it, really - the individual's or the industry's?
If the future of the world of design must be bright, we must, as educators, play our role in it. That's why we focus on bringing the right mentorship to learners, in the form of a team of mentors, who are from the industry. These are the masters who have the experience and the wisdom.
We design our education in a way that we bring the industry into the classroom. Literally. So that our learners can step out ready to take on and lead the real world of creativity and design; not just build a career. They take with them the confidence and the skill to look at the advancement of technology as a tool and combine that with their own creative and stylistic techniques. So that the larger world of design and technology advances together in harmony.
Eventually, the world of design will get richer when each of our learners steps out with the experience and knowledge that they have gained with us.
As professionals - and not just academicians, we owe that much to our learners and to the industry.
